A touch of Provence in Normandy!

It all began in 1995, as we landed in Normandy… the southern girl that I was, will have to get used to the « Wild West », I let you imagine the disruption in our lifestyle!

Then in the fall of 1997, we accidentally discovered our dream house: an old « shack » of the 18th century, for which we literally fell in love at first sight! At the bottom of a dead end, in a preserved green setting, there was this lovely south-facing little farm, surrounded by peerage where cows grazed. There was no water, no windows, no electricity… but the house looked good, and this little river that edged the property was called “La Provence”: surely a sign of destiny!
The sea is only 300 meters far.

Today, the house has changed… a lot! It is now a real Provençal «Mas», which brings a real interest to this place located in the heart of Normandy. All of the three bedrooms are decorated with colours that easily break the greyness of rainy days.
Recently, the farm welcomed a chic « Gypsy Cottage », customized in a fisherman shed style! A unique experience that always amazes young couples with kids.

Mylène, who since tamed this new land, will share with you her secret spots and beautiful findings: beaches, marketplaces, flea markets, gardens and restaurants…
The place is of course perfect to visit the beaches of the Normandy landings, a few kilometers away.
